Next Games launches its debut title, Compass Point: West, worldwide on the App Store

HELSINKI, FinlandMarch 26, 2015 — Next Games, the Finnish mobile games studio created by veteran talent from Supercell, Rovio and Disney, today announced the worldwide release of its premier action strategy title, Compass Point: West™, on iOS smartphones and tablets.“We couldn’t be more proud to launch our first game. With Compass Point: West, the debut game in the Compass Point series, we explore the action strategy genre from a fresh, new angle with our original take on card collecting. The game takes the player on a journey to the old Wild West where they join friends and saddle up for an epic adventure, exploring the open frontier while fighting the hostile takeover plans of notorious oil tycoon, Orville Driller. Along the way, the player will build their own outposts, collect cards to summon allies and encounter a wide range of characters, each with their unique personalities in their mission to save the Wild West.To support the global release of Compass Point: West, Next Games collaborated with premium content producer IDW Publishing to create an original comic to expand on the game’s story. IDW is an award-winning publisher of comic books, renowned for its diverse catalog of licensed and independent titles, including Hasbro’s The TRANSFORMERS and Paramount/CBS’s Star Trek.
